The Busy Person's Retreat is exactly what the title says. Students and parishioners will have an opportunity to take a week of retreat even in the midst of their busy schedule. If you don't have time to take a whole weekend and go away on a retreat, this is your chance! During the week, the busy person will carve out 30 minutes a day for spiritual direction with the pastor or another spiritual director and another 30 minutes a day for prayer, Bible reading, and spiritual reading. The retreat is designed to fit around a busy person's schedule so that even the busiest person can find time to set aside to grow spiritually. Jesus tells us in the Gospel: "What profit would there be for one to gain the whole world and forfeit his life? Or what can one give in exchange for his life?". Matthew 16:26 Sometimes we get so busy that we neglect and even forget the most fundamental and basic dimensions of human life.
