About the Tradere Society

The Tradere Society was founded to nurture the bonds of the Newman Center family, especially by giving you, our alumni and friends, the opportunity to invest in the faith of each new generation of students, the future of our Church.

The example and involvement of those who have come before is the most successful means of inspiring a new generation. Just as the Apostles handed down the teachings of Christ through the Church, and parents hand those same teachings down to their children, so too St. Paul’s relies on the support of alumni and friends to hand down our faith and traditions to today’s students.

What will my donation be used for?

Your generous monthly donation helps the Newman Center continue to provide a place for college students to learn about and grow in their Catholic faith.

Tradere Society donors help provide

Scholarships for the annual Crossroads retreat, the Big Weekend Getaway, Fall and Spring break service trips, and KCCSC
Books and speakers for faith formation programs such as Catholicism for College Students, The Bad Catholic’s Guide to the Faith, Scripture: The Catholic View, and GRACE/Brotherhood of St. Paul groups
Food for Thursday Dollar Lunch, first Friday TGIF activities, and Wednesday night dinners

How do I become a member?

Get involved as a member of the Tradere Society today by supporting the Newman Center with a monthly donation of $25, $50, $100, or more.

Currently, there are three ways to make your monthly donation:

• Online payment each month

• By check each month: You can mail your check to the office, drop it in the Sunday collection, or bring it by in person.

• Automatic monthly withdrawal from your bank account or credit card (use parish code KS446): Faith Direct is a program that specializes in providing automatic withdrawal capabilities for Catholic parishes across the nation. Their secure site will transfer your Tradere Society donation to St. Paul's every month while still allowing you full ability to monitor and adjust your account as needed.
